Module Fabrication
COOEC-Fluor can fabricate some of the world’s largest modules.
COOEC-Fluor fabrication yard can accommodate some of the world’s largest modules weighing more than 50,000 metric tons for Clients in the onshore, offshore, power, infrastructure and mining industries.

COOEC-Fluor can take projects from concept to installation and start-up, providing project delivery certainty, no matter the scale. From onshore modularized mega-projects to large, offshore floating and integrated fixed facilities, the COOEC-Fluor yard delivers global, cost-effective execution for every market.
The COOEC-Fluor yard is designed for large-scale module fabrication with dedicated facilities including:
Large-scale Module Fabrication
  • Steel Fabrication
Fabricated steel is cut and assembled to project design requirements in COOEC-Fluor’s state-of-the-art steel cutting workshop. The 33,300 m2 workshop contains three plane segmentation assembly lines and upgraded cutting and material handling equipment for an annual capacity of 84,000 tons.
  • Structural Welding
All welding is conducted in this new facility to project-engineering specifications. With a total area of 34,000 m2, COOEC-Fluor’s dedicated welding workshop has more than 300 welding machines for an annual capacity of 84,000 tons.
  • Blast & Painting
After steel cutting and fabrication, items are sent to COOEC-Fluor’s 34,056 m2 blasting and painting buildings which have a climate-controlled and vacuum cleaning system for efficient processing.
  • Piping & Outfitting
With an annual pipe capacity of 900,000 meters and a total area of 31,320 m2, the piping and outfitting workshop uses the latest cutting and welding equipment to work on complex pipe cuttings, process welds and component assemblies.
